Residents describe that from 9:30 PM local on yesterday until early morning, Israeli artillery and air strikes struck multiple areas of the urban center.

  • Artillery fire was directed at the southern and western zones factory district, and campus vicinity, followed by sustained attacks in Tel al-Hawa.
  • Subsequently, air raids targeted that locality and the government security building.
  • In the late night, fighter jets hit Tel al-Hawa, Beach Camp, and that neighborhood, while shelling focused on that road near that intersection and the hospital.

Residential Areas Affected

Observers stated bombs released above neighborhoods in the area and al-Jalaa Street.

The spokesman reported that the district, the neighborhood, and the street were among the worst-hit zones through the evening.
